My ultimate mobile astrophotography setup - ASI AIR and AM5 in action - VLOG
How many clear nights were you able to use in August? I was lucky enough to catch five clear nights around the new moon in August to thoroughly test my ultimate mobile astrophotography setup. On one of those nights, I recorded the footage and created this vlog for you.
With the Takahashi Epsilon, the ZWO AM5 mount, and the ASIAIR, I've finally reached my goal when it comes to compact and powerful astrophotography equipment. Setup is quick, and the results are absolutely convincing.
For this video, I chose a very special observing site—a place where I took my first tracked images on film 20 years ago. I was curious to see if the location had changed and what the conditions are like for deep-sky astrophotography there today. Take a look and join me on this nostalgic journey!
