Bishop provides Unification process update
As Bishop Saenz outlined in his 2023 Episcopal Address, a consultation process is now underway to work toward unifying the North, Central and possibly the Northwest Texas Conferences. Lead consultant Dr. John Wimberly is now seeking input from lay and clergy Conference members in a series of Zoom Focus Groups. These conversations will help inform recommendations regarding the organizational design of a new Conference.
Three North Texas Conference Unification Focus Groups are July 17 at 3 p.m., July 22 at 10 a.m., and July 27 at 7 p.m. Each will be 60 to 90 minutes and will focus on the following two questions:
•What do you appreciate most about your Conference?
•How would you like to see a new Conference carry out its mission in the future (staffing, programs, budget, etc.)?
