This is the popular New Year Carnival.in Central London.
The Spectacular welcomes 10,000 people across 70 Acts, with thousands of Spectators lining the route, from Piccadilly down St James to Pall Mall to Trafalgar Square, on to Whitehall.
Unfortunately the Winter weather was rather wet, all throughout the performance!
This shows a view as a Bystander, at Piccadilly, viewing the passing Dancers, Bands, Floats and other exhibits in the Procession - with soaking wet conditions!!!
Horses, Ponies and even Donkeys took part.
This is Part 1 of a Procession lasting 2 hours 45 minutes in duration, with much material captured , despite soaking wet weather causing severe challenges in filming, (and a soaked camera nearly succumbing to the wet and completely failing!!!)
International visitors also attended and participated, with musicians from America, dancers from Mexico and Costa Rica, as well as The Philippines represented, and other countries, with the range of Acts on display, most of which is showcased here.
