In this video we will see how to create "Invisible" Registration Keys in Meshmixer.
In the second video of this series we will learn how to create Invisible Registration Keys using a Solid sphere to create a Male Key, which will be placed on the surface of a cut half of an model, and then cloning the Male Key into two Female Keys, slightly larger. Then we will use our Booleans' Difference (Subtract) operation to "extract" the Female Keys from each half of our model, using the following order:
1) Object you are going to subtract FROM first...
2) Object you are going to subtract WITH second...
After we learn the correct selection order for the Difference Boolean operation, we will go over how to see at the preview of these Boolean operations, and how to disable the Auto-Reduce Results to prevent Meshmixer from Remeshing the Boolean operations.
