2016 & 2017 Model 13 inch MacBook Pro Touch Bar A1706 and non Touch Bar A1708 Models.

MacBook Pro A1708 (Late 2016) has a display issue—screen works only when opened partially.
00:34 - Disassembly Begins
Remove six pentalobe screws and open the bottom case with suction cup.
01:06 - Disconnect Battery Safely
Loosen the T5 pancake screw and disconnect the battery jumper.
01:48 - Starting Diagnosis
Remove logic board to access and inspect LCD display connector.
02:29 - Removing Logic Board Screws
Disconnect flex cables, speakers, and SSD. Unscrew Wi-Fi antenna bracket.
03:30 - Final Disassembly Before Logic Board Removal
Unplug speaker and LCD connection; remove battery management flex cable.
04:21 - Replacing LCD Connector Cable
Remove two T3 screws and swap out the LCD connector cable.
05:11 - Reinstalling Logic Board
Align ports and screw locations; check cable positions before reinstalling.

Reconnect LCD, Wi-Fi antennas, SSD, speaker, and other flex cables.

Screw in long T3s, LCD module screws, and Wi-Fi vent screws.

Reconnect Wi-Fi and LCD, install hinge covers and all brackets.
15:24 - Final Display Test
Reconnect battery and verify display works at all angles.
