Pocketsphinx is a speech recognition library developed by CMU (Carnegie Mellon University), this library ise very useful for those learning about Speech Recognition, for instance you can train a custom model, although it's a hard process and the accuracy achieved by using Hidden-Markov based models not being the best, but learning about acoustic models, language models and phonetic dictionaries will be very helpful when training Speech Recognition models using Neural Networks.
