We know disabled veterans have an uphill battle trying to integrate back into ordinary life and one of the biggest obstacles is financial! They pay higher out-of-pocket costs for necessities like insurance, accessible homes, and adaptive vehicles. So, in honor of Military Appreciation Month, Joe Gibbs Racing sponsor, Interstate Batteries, is helping offset some of those transportation costs. We chatted with the legendary coach about those efforts and how veterans will be honored this weekend at the Coca-Cola 600. We also spoke with a disabled veteran about what the help means to him.
