A massive supercell thunderstorm formed along a warm front in a strongly sheared and very unstable air mass just south of I-70 in North-Central KS. The storm spawned four tornadoes to the south of the Hays and Victoria areas tracking near the towns Liebenthal and Galatia. For a brief moment, there were two tornadoes on the ground as the first large wedge (darker) gave way to a new lighter tornado as the rear flank downdraft cut allowed more light to come in on the back side and expose the tornado and collar cloud around it.
Enjoy!
