A mindfulness meditation which watches the movements of the mind, such as thoughts and feelings, as an observer, or a witness, without engaging with them emotionally. Grounding ourselves in the body upholds us through this process.
We publish a quarterly themed magazine, which is sent to members of the Hamblin Trust, and individual copies are available to purchase on our website: https://www.thehamblinvision.org.uk/s...
either as a PDF download for or as a print copy.
This meditation is based on an article "Watching the Movements of our Mind" written by trustee of the Hamblin Trust, Victoria Willson, in our Autumn/Fall issue of the magazine, on the theme of "Shaping the Subconscious." https://www.thehamblinvision.org.uk/blog

The Hamblin Vision's content is inspired by the teachings of spiritual writer Henry Thomas Hamblin, a very practical mystic, who taught how to integrate spirituality into our daily lives, by harnessing the power of our thoughts and by taking daily quiet time for meditation or contemplation.
