Many patients with Lyme disease also suffer from co-infections acquired through the same tick bite. The most common co-infections include babesia, ehrlichia, anaplasmosis, bartonella, STARI, and Borrelia miyamotoi. These infections share similar symptoms including fevers, fatigue, headaches, muscle aches. Treatment may include any number of antibiotics or anti-parasitic drugs.
