http://cad-1.com/ | The Revit feature “View Filters” allows users to more easily convey a message or make a statement by adjusting the appearance of the objects in the Revit model. All Revit objects belong to a category, and that category controls the object appearance. During the design process, it can be advantageous to change the default appearance of objects in order to illustrate something that needs to be reviewed or perhaps differentiate objects by discipline.

There are a number of ways to control the display of an element, and it may not always be obvious which method has precedence. The object visibility options in Revit range from object styles, to view filters, to override in graphics view. If you wonder which is preferred and/or which method trumps, you will want to tune into this webinar

Join Tony Crawford, BSME, and Barbara Thompson, AIA, as they demonstrate the basics of the Revit Filter components and the different visibility options in Revit. You won’t want to miss this webinar as Tony and Barbara give a comprehensive overview of these powerful Revit features.
