Fair Oaks Mall - Columbus, Indiana
Welcome to the Fair Oaks Mall located in Columbus, IN. The mall opened in 1990 with JCPenney, Elder Beerman, Kmart as anchors. and a third anchor Goodys opened a year later. In 2009 Goodys closed. In 2011 Edler Beerman was converted into a Carsons. In 2013 Kmart closed and the space was converted into a Dunhams Sports. JCPenney closed in 2017 and in 2018 Carsons closed due to bankruptcy from the company. In 2021 work began on converting the mall into a community center and a sports complex and the facility was renamed to NexusPark As of 2024 only one half of the mall is still open and the rest of the mall is closed off redevelopment.
