In this tutorial video, we will cover the second type of expansion thermometer which is a filled in thermometer. We will discuss the four types of the filled in systems i.e. gas filled, vapour, liquid filled in glass tube, liquid filled in metal tube.
We see see their basic principle of expansion and contraction on heating and cooling respectively. The materials used in these filled in systems, their operational temperature measurement range, advantages and limitations.
