Left and Right functions in Microsoft Access ~ DataPig
Demonstrates the use of the Left and Right functions of VBA and Access to manipulate text. Specifically, strings of a specific length (6) are updated to have a hyphen inserted between the 3rd and 4th character. This short video highlights the syntax and ease of use of these functions.
This video has been resurrected from an older Access tutorial series by DataPigTechnologies. Even though Access looks different now, the concepts and functionality persist.
