21 employees in 3 shifts were required to bag the output of this cell. IMDECOL was requested to present a complete automated solution for Cutlery takeout, stacking, and inserting to a bag.
Critical Design Point:
High Velocity - High volume cell (64 cavities)
Permitting enough peripheral cycle time for the robotic arm to clear the rotating magazine.
Magazine design includes a unique rotating feature that aligns the product stacks in the same orientation.
