Thai Demon Sculpture in Cinema 4d // The Practice 135
I was so inspired by some photos of Thai demon sculptures that I decided to try my hand at modeling my own. I used the sculpt tool in cinema 4d to modify a sphere, then I added lots of sweeps and primitives to a symmetry object to build out the form. I used a lot of bright colors in the materials, lit, rendered and retouched in photoshop.
This timelapse is about 2 hours of work sped up to about 26 minutes. Lower the speed to .25 in the video settings to watch at closer to normal speed.
