Come join the Malaysia Bach Festival Singers & Orchestra virtually on this special Bach pilgrimage, where we travelled all the way from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to all the important Bach landmarks Germany! During our residency in Leipzig, we travelled to Arnstadt and performed at the Bach Church (Bachkirche), followed by a city tour provided by Kantor Jörg Reddin, who also performed on several pipe organs for us throughout the different churches in the city. You will also find us in Eisenach, where we visited the Bachhaus with an incredible guided tour provided by Dr. Jörg Hansen, hiked all the way up to the famous Wartburg Castle, and performed at St. George's Church (Georgenkirche). Last but not least, back in Leipzig, we performed at Bach's own St. Thomas Church (Thomaskirche) during the prestigious international Bachfest Leipzig, the main train station (Hauptbahnof), as well as the Alte Börse, where we also met Bach choirs from around the world. We also visited and performed at the Mendelssohnhaus (Museum) and the Bach Museum. This was an incredibly fruitful trip, and we would like to thank all our patrons and sponsors who have made this trip possible for us. Last but not least, we would like to thank Prof. Dr. Michael Maul from the bottom of our heart, as without his invitation for us to perform at Bachfest Leipzig, all these would not have been possible.
