Bachfest Malaysia 2023
Bachfest Malaysia 2023 features Bach's unique "St. John Passion" (1725 version), performed by the Malaysia Bach Festival Singers and Orchestra which consists of 35 professional musicians. There will be a very special exhibition of Bach manuscripts brought to us by Bach scholar Prof. Dr. Manuel Bärwald from Leipzig, Germany, where he will be providing all ticket holders a guided tour. He will also joined by Bishop Rev. Thomas Low of the Lutheran Church and Prof. Dr. David Chin in providing intriguing lectures.

馬來西亞巴赫節於來臨的八月/九月通過一系列的活動和大家分享優質音樂。這次節慶的主角是巴赫獨特1725年的《聖約翰受難曲》，由35名專業青年音樂家所組成的馬來西亞巴赫慶典合唱與管弦樂團呈現。此外，我們將會有一個非常特別的巴赫手稿展覽，由來自德國萊比錫的巴赫學者曼紐爾·別瓦特博士提供豐富的內容並負責導覽。他也會與馬來西亞信義會會督劉國燦牧師以及陳子虔教授博士個別主講主題講座，讓觀眾能更全面地去欣賞這部經典作品。
