Geodesic deviation
This video goes through the process for deriving the geodesic deviation equation using a two parameter family of curves on a general manifold before generalising the result to space-time. The resulting equation is shown to be dependent upon the Riemann curvature tensor. It then looks at the weak field, slow speed case of the geodesic equation and how it relates to the Newtonian geodesic deviation case.
