"The World Floats"
I composed "The World Floats" while I was at a low point with anorexia nervosa. I did not realize at the time that I had an eating disorder, but I was actually very sick at the time. I have since recovered to a healthy weight and have been in recovery for a few years now. I see this piece as an expression of how disconnected I felt from my own body and from the world around me, due to the lack of nutrition my body was receiving. I have decided to record and post it for eating disorder awareness week.
