Building a community of care in Tamworth
Jeremaia Marawa is part of the Tamworth Fijian community, providing support to Pacific Labour Scheme workers in the region.
Weekly church services, sports practice, picnics and day trips around the region are just some of the activities the group have facilitated for workers in the area.
For Jeremaia, it's about giving the workers a strong support network so they can make the most of every opportunity.
“If you can look after yourself, then everything falls into place,” he said.
