Whistler New Year's Ski Trip Video
Video of our awesome vacation at Whistler for New Year's Eve. We skied and snowboarded on Whistler and Blackcomb, went tubing, had fun times in our cabin, enjoyed the Whistler Village, and had a great New Year's Eve. We stayed 5 nights and skied/ boarded 3 days.

TOP TRAVEL TIPS:
*Whistler is expensive and very busy. If possible, go during the off seasons (The locals told us February is not as busy and the snow is great).
*Buy your lift tickets online as the savings are huge.
*There are three options for places to stay that are on the lifts: Whistler, Upper Village, or Creekside.
*Whistler and Upper Village are very busy but offer gondola options to Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain.
*Creekside is very quiet and has the Creekside Gondola, which takes skiers up Whistler Mountain, with the option of taking the Peak 2 Peak to get to Blackcomb.
*Generally, most of the locals we spoke to enjoy Whistler Mountain over Blackcomb.
*Parking can get very crowded in the Whistler Village, so you can park by the tubing center (Lot 7) and take the Excalibur Gondola down straight into the Whistler Village, for free. This section of the Gondola was running until 8:00 pm while we were there, but be sure to check with the staff when you board the Gondola to be sure you can get back to your car. *There are also many taxis that are always available in Whistler, anytime of day.
