In this video, we will be learning about the process of using Pythagoras' theorem to find the hypotenuse of a right-angled triangle. We'll start by reviewing the basic of right-angled triangles and the concept of Pythagoras' theorem. We will then cover the method of using Pythagoras' theorem to find the length of the hypotenuse of a right-angled triangle by using the Pythagorean theorem formula, which states that the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides. We'll work through several example problems to help solidify your understanding of the material. By the end of this video, you will have a solid understanding of how to use Pythagoras' theorem to find the hypotenuse of a right-angled triangle and be able to approach and solve problems confidently. This video is designed for the NSW Stage 5 Mathematics Course.
