Ultra’s convenient Meta Slider plugin integration lets you insert a full width or constrained slider above the content on any page. It also lets you overlap the header and slider should you wish to do so.
To integrate your own slider you’ll first need to install Meta Slider plugin, that can be done from Plugins + Add New, search for Meta Slider using the search form at the top right. Install and active.
With Meta Slider installed and activated, you're ready to create your first slider. Meta Slider adds a new menu item on the main WordPress menu, usually near the bottom. Look out for a blue icon.
Within the Meta Slider interface open, click the "Create your first slideshow" button.
Next, click the text “New Slider” to set your unique slider name.
Next, click the Add Slide button to add your first slide.
With your slide added you can now make use of the Caption and URL fields, as well as the other settings available.
Once your slider has been saved, navigate to Appearance + Theme Settings + Home + Home Slider. The Home Slider drop down menu will now contain your newly created Meta Slider. Select it to replace the demo slider.
