Page templates can be limited in the number of layout options they provide.
Ultra now offers page settings in addition to page templates; let's take a look.
Go to Pages and edit an existing page.
To make the best use of Page Settings, select the Default Template in the Template drop-down menu, found in the Page Attributes meta box.
Next, scroll down to the Page Settings meta box found further down the right column. Keep in mind that these settings only apply to the page currently being edited, they don't apply to any other pages.
The following settings are available:
Page Layout:
In the page layout drop-down menu, you'll find the following options, Default, No Sidebar, Full-Width and Full Width, With Sidebar.
The Default layout displays the page content and widget sidebar.
The No Sidebar layout removes the sidebar.
The Full-Width layout makes the entire page, including the header and footer, full-screen width.
The Full-Width, With Sidebar layout, does the same and includes the widget sidebar.
Top Bar:
Enable or disable the top bar. For the top bar to be displayed, the global setting at Appearance + Customize + Theme Settings + Header must be enabled.
Header:
Enable or disable the header. For the header to be displayed, the global setting at Appearance + Customize + Theme Settings + Header must be enabled.
We'll look at the remaining page settings using the Ultra one-page website demo.
Header Bottom Margin:
Enable or disable the margin below the header.
Page Title:
Enable or disable the page title.
Footer Top Margin:
Enable or disable the margin above the footer.
Footer Widgets:
