We are proud to stand in solidarity with all those fighting to #KillTheBill.
If the Police, Crime, Sentencing, and Courts bill gets passed then some of the demonstrations we held against the Atherstone Hunt may not be possible in the future. This was the first demonstration we held against the Atherstone Hunt at their Boxing Day meet in Market Bosworth 2015. It was the first of many demonstrations held against this hunt with each demonstration becoming louder, more disruptive and more annoying. Ultimately these demos along with other tactics and normal sabbing resulted in a successful conclusion to our campaign to shut the Atherstone Hunt down. It is effective, peaceful, non-violent demonstrations that the Bill is targeting. The Bill gives the police the power to criminalise protests for being “noisy”, disruptive or “annoying”. The bill is a major assault on the right to protest
If we stand together then we can #KillTheBill
