Most Populated Countries In the World (2022 - 2100)
In this video, we see the projection of world population by country starting from today until 2100. The numbers are the estimated values based on the population project of the United Nations. According to the expectations of the UN, China and India will continue to be the most populated countries in the world although the population of China will decrease to the 70% of its current population. What is interesting in the plot is the high number of African countries among the top 15 in the future. Nigeria will reach over 700 million in 2100 according to the estimations of the UN. Besides that; Ethiopia, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are other African countries which will experience extreme population growth in the future.
