In this video, we look at the CO2 emissions of countries (in tonnes) from 1800 to 2021. The United Kingdom has had the highest CO2 emission in the 19th century mostly because of the Industrial Revolution, followed by other European countries. In the meantime, the US started to emit CO2 in an increasing manner and became the top country until the end of 20th century. As you may know, China has the highest CO2 emission today, which is two times that of the second country, as a result of its population and large production volume. Now, let’s take a look at the timeline of the CO2 emissions of countries from 1800 to 2021. If you like the video, please make sure to click on the like button and don’t forget to subscribe!
