Is a Console FOV slider the same as PC? | DocValentino
Let's take a quick look to see if the FOV (Field of View) slider on a console (I used Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on PS5) is really the same as on PC. This video is strictly using an aspect ratio of 16:9 because consoles don't yet support anything wider than that. PC can gain some extra in-game viewing space by using a wider aspect ratio in addition to an increased FOV.
