Fiat, Citroën, Peugeot or Opel instrument cluster display not working, blank or with missing segments? Repair it by replacing only the faulty LCD.
👨🔧 This tutorial shows how to repair the instrument cluster of Fiat, Citroën, Peugeot and Opel models — such as Grande Punto, Punto, Doblò, Qubo, Fiorino, Panda, Peugeot Bipper and Citroën Nemo — when the dashboard display goes blank, fades, shows missing segments or dead pixels and no longer shows mileage, time or trip data. The fault is confined to the LCD screen: the rest of the instrument cluster keeps working, only the readability of the information is lost.
There's no need to replace the whole cluster, but the faulty screen only. Depending on fuel and transmission, four displays cover these clusters: SEPDISP37 (positive version, petrol/diesel with manual gearbox), SEPDISP37V4 (positive version, automatic transmission), SEPDISP34 (positive version, natural power / CNG) and SEI-DISP101 (negative version). All of them are press-fitted to a dedicated connector, with no soldering.
Replacing only the LCD also keeps the car's original mileage: swapping the whole instrument cluster makes the odometer flash and requires proxy alignment.
