🔧HOW TO UNLOCK A RUSTY BOLT? 🔵
To remove rust from rusted bolts, you can try the following steps:
Use a penetrating lubricant: Spray a penetrating lubricant like WD-40 on the bolts and let it sit for about 15 minutes. This will help loosen the rust and make the bolts easier to remove.
Use an impact wrench: If you have access to an impact wrench, use it to loosen the bolts. Impact wrenches apply rapid twisting force that can loosen rusted bolts.
Use a socket wrench: If you don't have access to an impact wrench, you can use a socket wrench to loosen the bolts. Make sure you use the correct size socket and apply steady force to loosen the bolt.
Heat the bolt: If the previous steps don't work, you can heat the bolt with a blowtorch or heat gun to loosen the rust. Be careful not to heat the metal to white heat, as this can damage the bolt threads.
Use a white vinegar and baking soda solution: In a bowl, mix equal parts white vinegar and baking soda to create a solution. Soak the rusty bolts in the solution for about an hour, then remove them and use a socket wrench to loosen them.
