Star Trek - Female computer or Valley Girl
In this clip from the original Star Trek series, we get a good example of the writer not thinking about The Future as he portrays a computer programmed by a primarily female society on an alien planet as Valley Girls IN SPACE.
In later episodes the female computer became a more standard portrayal of Federation technology and it DID NOT giggle.
In the later part of the series and all Star Trek series that followed the main computer voice was that of Majel Barrett AKA Mrs Gene Roddenberry.
