A clip from Genesis II circa 1973. In a post apocalyptic world, scientist Dylan Hunt is rescued from suspended animation after 174 years.
The world he knows is gone, but two factions still battle for control. Dylan is enraptured by Lyra-Ah, a mutated human with a double circulatory system (and two navels) called a Tyrannian and spirited away from PAX, the people who rescued him.
After a short time he begins to suspect Tyrannia is not the paradise he has been led to believe...
Produced by Gene Roddenberry, the show did not sell, but a script for the unsold series became the seed of the plot for Star Trek:The Motion Picture.
