Education attainment - Responding to Coronavirus Workshops: Catch-up Interventions
The Coronavirus pandemic has exacerbated existing educational inequalities worldwide. It is estimated that years of progress made in improving education access and quality will be lost, and action taken to limit the impact must also try to create a fairer education system going forward.
The success of the Welsh Government and schools’ education recovery efforts will be affected by (among other things):
• The way that experiences of distance and blended learning are built on and potentially embedded going forward;
• The methods and models of so-called ‘catch-up’ support provided; and
• The design, delivery and uptake of teacher professional development.
