✋️TUTORIAL: I INSTALL A FUEL GAUGE
In this new video, I share my tutorial on how to install and connect a temperature sensor yourself.
This video covers connecting a universal car fuel gauge.
The gauge will be connected to a sensor and a fuel float.
In this video, we'll see how to connect this fuel gauge kit.
Here's a tutorial for installing a fuel gauge in your vehicle:
Materials needed:
Fuel gauge
10-ohm resistor
Electrical wires
Crimping pliers
Screwdriver
Adhesive tape
Instructions:
Disconnect the cable from the existing fuel gauge. It is usually located on the fuel tank.
Find a location to mount your new fuel gauge. It is important that the chosen location is easily accessible and easy to read.
Install the fuel gauge in the chosen location using the screws or adhesive provided.
Connect one wire from the fuel gauge to the 10-ohm resistor. Crimp both ends of the wire to the resistor using crimping pliers.
Connect the resistor wire to the fuel gauge.
Connect the other fuel gauge wire to the existing fuel gauge cable using crimping pliers.
Turn on your car and verify that the fuel gauge is working properly by filling the tank with fuel and monitoring the gauge.
Note: If you experience problems with the fuel gauge, check the connections and make sure all connections are tight.
