WOAH?! Youtube can custom sync subtitles I’m flabbergasted
Started this back in 2020-21 when I got really obsessed with the trilogy (still waiting for the fourth movie 🥺) but yeah I found it in my old files and was like you know what Imma finish it cause I was that close lol. Some of the lineart is again inconsistent bc of that.
And I know the original intention of the song isn’t meant for this meaning that I chose for this animatic but I couldn’t help it bc it reminded me of Qin Feng and Tang Ren 🥹 I also tried shading the animatic but decided it looked bad halfway through so I left a part of what I did shade in at the end.
So the beginning a just a flashback to when they temporarily split apart in the first movie and it shows Qin Feng’s backstory trying for the police academy but saying the complete wrong things like wanting to commit the perfect crime. The weird heart beat thing was just the whole story about his mom’s death. And then Tang Ren’s backstory is pretty self-explanatory 🥶 the last couple of drawings just show the timeline of the first movie from meeting up to solving the crime to their fight and separation to reuniting at the fire and deciding they made a great team :’) I do be making the most random of things lol
