Cameras 01 | Logitech C922 Pro, Logitech Gaming Software, Logitech G Hub, and Logitech Capture
Getting the initial content related to the studio refresh continues with the cameras being used for the setup. I have two Logitech C922 Pros. One is used for the front-facing shots while the other is used for the top-down shots. Generally speaking, one is also considered portable (top-down), while the other is considered studio-only.
While I appreciate the hardware side of Logitech, the software side seems a bit haphazard. There are three potential software applications I'm aware of to control the camera and recording...there are apparently more as well. Not only that but the feature sets are quite similar and very much not all at the same time. The real disappointment for me was with the Logitech Capture software as it had UI elements available to the user but, for some unknown reason, I cannot manipulate them.
If it's because I don't have the right camera, the software should be able to tell and notify me of such. If it's because the software is still in beta, which it apparently is as of this writing, the software should be able to tell me that as well. That would be a better experience in my opinion.
Still working on the audio syncing. Believe it's more about the video from the camera than the audio as the video does re-sync throughout the video.
