A series of clear solutions are added to a 300 mL beaker of 0.1M silver nitrate: sodium bicarbonate, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, ammonia, potassium bromide, sodium thiosulfate, and potassium iodide. The beaker alternates between cloudy and clear as precipitates and complexes are formed. The solutions are mixed via a magnetic stir bar at the bottom of the beaker.
