Dutch van der Linde kills Angelo Bronte in the bayou and feeds him to an alligator, after he and the rest of the gang kidnapped Angelo Bronte from his mansion in Saint Denis.

After the failed trolley station robbery, and being set up by Angelo Bronte, Dutch van der Linde becomes bent on revenge. Dutch forms a plan to have a friend named Thomas take he and Arthur Morgan, John Marston, Bill Williamson, and Lenny Summers by boat to Angelo Bronte’s mansion, where they then attack from the river and kidnap Angelo Bronte from his home. On the way back in the boat, Dutch wakes up a knocked out Angelo Bronte to antagonize him, but Angelo Bronte throws insults back at Dutch. After a heated argument, and the insults Bronte makes towards Dutch, Dutch becomes enraged and drowns Angelo Bronte from the side of the boat while the rest of the gang watches in shock. After Dutch has fully drowned Angelo Bronte, he tosses his body overboard into the river for a nearby alligator to eat Angelo Bronte. John Marston then questions Dutch’s actions in killing Bronte impulsively, to where Dutch becomes angry with John. With only Arthur and John left on the pier after getting off the boat, Arthur watches the water in horror and shocked at what his father-figure and mentor has done to Angelo Bronte.
