This is a video tutorial covering some of the basics on a Check Point R71 Firewall, i have built a distributed deployment with a management server and gateway and a few other test machines, a linux web server and a Stingray load balancer.
This video covers the very basic rule creation, for outbound traffic and NAT and inbound rules, i cover lightly on anti-spoofing and some of the generic rules i think you should know, such as the cleanup and stealth rule etc... I will hopefully produce a series of videos and the next will cover the addition of another interface, and creating a DMZ network with two sets of rules, one from internet to DMZ and DMZ to external...
