Checkpoint VPN External
This is a follow on video (Link at the bottom) where i am testing my Remote Access VPN to my Checkpoint Lab externally, from the video you can see i am now connecting to the Checkpoint Security Gateway via a Public IP address. In the previous video i ran the Management Server and Gateway on my laptop, using VMWare, in order to get this lab working, i migrated the VM images over to a physical server in my lab and the only changes i made where to the interface topology, which i updated to reflect the new ip addresses, now the Gateway was sat directly connected to the internet.
In the video i connect to the Security Gateway using the R75 version of the VPN client as before, except this time i am also using Certificate Authentication, this provides a higher level of security assuming you follow best practice.
