A Camel Race in Qatar
Camel racing takes place weekly during the winter season at Qatar's Al Shahaniya racing track. These races are an integral part of Qatari heritage and a multi-million dollar business. They're not well publicized with tourists and residents, so they can be a bit tricky to visit. I took a tour with Murex tours to catch one of the Saturday afternoon Sheik camel races.
