Soulbound Chests - Vanilla Minecraft 1.16+
Using an update suppressor you are able to suppress the chest network packets. Doing so allows you to make the server believe you are still within the chest allowing you to bind yourself to that chest. Binding yourself to a chest comes with some side effects such as locking other containers for the player that is bound and locking villagers server-side.
In this video, I explain why this works and what we have discovered using this technique.
Forgot to mention:
Spam click a chest to un-soulbound from the chest since the leaving packet will happen while the update suppressor is resetting. You are going to want to do this before leaving to prevent the crash.
Having a 1-tick update suppressor would completely prevent you from using inventories.
