Life death birth - A Cinematic Poem
"Colliding, merging, emerging
Atoms of all coloured cells
Waving, synchronising and evolving
Completely immersed,
One with all the explosions
I was in the dance of the art .
How expensive to be a part
Ocean blue evolving into peachy tones
Of skin
Nature and human
All from the same
Childlike wander snapped into horror
Ones and zeros,
In the belly of the beast.
Simulated, matrix, faster faster faster
Panicked breaths as the images shopped forwards.
Curled up in a ball.
Protective hands over my eyes
It passed, I with it
Changing with force into psychedelic tribal
Stripes, laced with sterile controlled white.
The reckoning.
Collapsing
To be rebirthed into new
The Earth shattered.
Fractals
Death
All pain, anger, happiness, guilt, wonder, anxiety, joy, romance
I looked at the horrific beauty of it all.
Darkness
Growing light
New life
New colour
New wonder
I sit in or at the cycle of life,
Polarising forces
Destruction
Rebirth
Art in its deepest form
How can decimation be so beautiful?"
