Mods & Level Editors: How the Community keeps games alive!
With games like Doom, Half-Life, and many others, mod support and level editing allows you, the fans, to create wonderful and exciting new chapters, to share for everyone to play! But, do games that don't offer modding or level editing limit themselves, and do they need them?
Today I look into video games that offer fun modding and level editing support, but also look into how they compare to the alternative, which in many cases in today's "AAA" market, seems to be things like micro-transactions and battle-passes, and why I think community support is so important.
Also, I say an iteration of the word "mod" about 37 times in this video! The more you know!
