Pacific Offshore: December 18, 2022
Big video! Saw a ton of wildlife on this trip so I didn't wanna cut it down too much. This is also the first time I can share a Humpback whale mugging! Mugging in this case is a good thing if you're a wildlife appreciator since it means you're stuck there until the whale decides to leave. This one made multiple circles around the boat, spy hopped, would just float behind us and even started playing with kelp before it finally swam off with a final dive where it showed its fluke.
All the animals in this video: Pacific White Sided Dolphins, Fin Whales, Humpback whale, Common Dolphins (Probably long beaked), Risso's Dolphins, Bottlenose Dolphins and California Sea Lions.
