Forging a Dragon's Head - Chess Set 2020

In this video, I forge a dragon head for my chess set. Stylized, mythical creatures such as this leave a lot over latitude for creative experimentation of shape. This "off the cuff" interpretation utilizes several traditional forging techniques, such as punching, splitting, drawing out, upsetting and forge welding.
