Rode PROCASTER
This is a quick look and listen to the Rode Procaster microphone. The Procaster is aimed at the professional broadcast market, but I think this makes it a good choice for any narrative vocal work. While I don't care much for my voice, I think you can compare this recording with my other recordings... and also see just how prevalent the proximity effect is with this microphone (a very good thing). I've had some messages about how I shoot my videos (not much to them really...) so I thought it may be fun to show a little BTS of this quick and dirty basement production.
