Here I show you how I make my voice sound much better using the simple operations in Audacity. For YouTube videos I have learned if you have good high quality audio, people will forgive any video issues. But if you have lousy audio- people will not watch (understandably so)
By using simple noise removal, compression, treble and bass you can add authority and clarity to your voice easily. I use a digital recorder or Audacity on a PC to record my audio separately from my camera audio.
If you don't have an external audio recorder- no problem. Just export your original audio from the video file as a wav file and bring it into Audacity. You can also use a phone or a computer to record the audio separately then perform the same process. Easy.
Using the process shown then adding the file back into your video as the main audio will make a notable improvement to any YouTube video.
