So how to make a name for yourself?
→ Ask yourself these questions:
Who are you.....when you’re working, when no one is looking, when you're on stage when you're off camera.
How do you want to show up? Classy, sophisticated, casual, approachable, easy-going, charismatic, empathetic, strong, relatable, etc
What’s the impact you want to leave on other people?
→ Productise yourself:
Write a book
Start a podcast
Start a newsletter
Start a YouTube channel
→ Become a trusted authority/expert:
Skill acquisition
Public speaking
Content creation
Organise industry events
→ Build a community:
Leverage social media
Shared identity, shared purpose, shared passions, shared beliefs, shared aspirations
The 1000 true fan model (i.e. you really only need 1000 TRUE fans to become successful)
Please note, that if you don’t make a name for yourself, the market will assign a name for you.
Make sure that YOU are controlling the narrative.
